Testimonial

"From start to finish, working with Les was an absolute pleasure. His attention to detail was exceptional, and the care he put into every aspect of the project really showed in the final result.

We had a very clear vision for what we wanted to achieve with our bathroom, and we know we probably weren’t the easiest clients at times! But Les was incredibly accommodating, patient, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. He really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted, asked all the right questions, and made sure every decision aligned with the vision we had in mind.

What impressed us most was his ability to take our ideas and execute them so perfectly. Nothing ever felt rushed or overlooked, and his craftsmanship and professionalism were evident every step of the way.

Not only is the finished bathroom better than we could have imagined, but the whole experience of working with Les was genuinely enjoyable. We’re absolutely thrilled with the outcome and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for someone talented, reliable, and truly invested in delivering exceptional work."

Project Brief

The requirements for this customer amounted to an almost complete bathroom refurb. Some plumbing work had been completed with services provided for hot & cold water, a shower feed, toilet feed and waste. The requirements were to:

  • box in the shower pipes
  • build a bulk-head to hide pipework to the toilet and sink and clad it with panelling
  • fit a shower tray and glass panel
  • fit a toilet and sink with vanity unit
  • tile the shower enclosure and floor
  • frame the window reveal
  • fit a radiator

The customer chose to fit additional panelling and skirting as well as painting and wall papering.

Original bathroom

The below pictures show the bathroom as it was when the customer purchased the property. It was emptied and the walls re-plastered and pipework and plumbing fitted.

Work in Progress

Removal of the old suite exposed more issues and it was clear that the 'spongy' shower tray was hiding a long running water leak which had rotted the shower tray frame, the studded wall and part of the floor screed.

Completed Project

The result was a sleek, clean-lined en-suite shower, toilet and basin.
