"We are extremely happy with the work Les carried out for us. Our two bathrooms are not that old, but they were just looking a little tired and needed freshening up. Les was meticulous in his approach, cleaning all of the grout, as well as replacing cracked and missing grout where required. He also removed and replaced all of the sealant and repaired various screw holes, leaving both rooms looking good as new. In fact one member of our family thought we had had a new bathroom fitted. He went about his work in an organised manner, always leaving the rooms clean and tidy at the end of each day.  He was a pleasure to have around and we would have no hesitation in using his services in the future as well as recommending him to friends and family."

Project Brief

Both the family bathroom and the master bedroom en-suite in this property were not particularly old. They were, however, a little tired, but not to the extent that they needed to be replaced. Instead, the grout needed cleaning up, the sealant removing and replacing and various drill holes in the tiling needed to be repaired.

At some stage, the shower tray and enclosure in the family bathroom and been removed and a larger one put in its place. This had left a significant gap between the tray and the wall tiles and the company carrying out the work had attempted to hide that gap using sealant. However, given that the gap was nearly 20mm in places, this was not  a satisfactory solution, so a better option had to be identified.

Original family bathroom

These pictures show the original family bathroom. The poor state of the grout and sealant can be sign as well as various drill holes in the wall tiles.

Completed family bathroom

All cleaned up and looking like a new bathroom, which is exactly what one visitor thought it was after the work had been completed.

Original En-suite

Just like the family bathroom, the en-suite grout and sealant needed replacing. There were also several drill holes in the tiles.

Completed En-suite

The grout has been cleaned up and the sealant around the shower tray an enclosure, removed and replaced. Where pieces of grout had cracked, they were removed and new grout added. Like the family bathroom, drill holes were filled using a colour match repair kit
